Coronavirus: 5G or not 5G? That is the question.

5g martin sanchezThat’s certainly the question that a lot of people are asking; was covid-19 caused, or made worse, by 5G technology? You may feel strongly either way but let’s not be mentally lazy about this. Let’s take a closer look at how the possible mechanisms this could be the case, and whether or not there’s any evidence for it being part of the problem.

  1. 5G uses energy in the form of radiowaves.

That’s right. The same kind of energy which enabled our parents to listened to news and music. Some of us may even still listen to the radio. While a number of different frequencies are used the primary frequency that comes from the 5G towers are higher than the old 3G and 4G. They’re a little closer to microwaves, but with a lot less energy than what’s in your microwave oven.

So if you’re okay with eating microwaved food you’re in a good place for not worrying about a 5G tower.

While microwaves have been shown to cause immune-related issues in very young children such that it’s generally advised to not give children under 18 months microwaved foods the kinds of immune problems they cause generally don’t resolve until you stop giving the children the microwaved foods. As those with coronavirus do recover, and the towers haven’t been removed, this suggests this isn’t the cause of the problem.

In addition, the coronavirus is present in countries without 5G towers so the bigger pattern would suggest this isn’t a problem.

  1. 5G uses non-ionising radiation which can cause damage.5g jack sloop

Radiowaves are non-ionising. That means they don’t produce the kind of radiation sickness you might see if you were exposed in a nuclear accident.

While the first signs of radiation sickness (weakness, fatigue, fainting, confusion, fever) are similar to symptoms experienced by those with coronavirus, the more specific signs of radiation sickness (bleeding from the nose, mouth, gums, and rectum as well as bruising, skin burns, open sores on the skin, sloughing of skin, diarrhoea and hair loss) are not.

The biggest problems with non-ionising radiation is the possible interference with pacemakers, hearing aids and defibrillators. The other known source of concern with non-ionising radiation is that it can overheat tissues, which creates significant stress, leading to a breakdown of some tissues.

Here again, the tissues subjected to sufficient non-ionising radiation to overheat and break down don’t recover until the source of the radiation is removed and the 5G towers haven’t been removed so this isn’t likely. And again, covid-19 is an issue in countries that don’t have 5G towers so again this isn’t a likely scenario.

  1. 5g nasa5G satellites caused the virus.

One of the reasons why the 5G network is so much faster than earlier versions is because it has integrated the satellites into the network from the beginning, rather than trying to add them in later. Of course, if 5G has caused an issue through the satellites, rather than the towers, then the argument that they can’t be causing the issue because it exists in countries without the 5G towers doesn’t work as the satellites orbit in such a way as to cover the globe.

Now it has been shown that there are many viruses in our upper atmosphere. These can be pushed or projected down onto the earth but this isn’t something the 5G satellites are doing. The solar winds are doing this every day. In fact, (it’s a little gross) the solar winds push down about 800 million viruses onto every square metre (about 1.19 square yards) of the planet every day. So it’s pretty unlikely that any satellite can push down enough of an increase in a viral load in order to make a difference. Even a number of satellites are unlikely to increase the viral rain by a sufficiently significant amount to cause the current situation.

  1. 5G satellites change the radiation that reaches the planet.5g bryan golf solar eclipse

The thought here is that the satellites interfere with the Van Allen belts. If you haven’t heard of them they’re a magnetic ‘blanket’ around our planet that protects us from the worst of the radiation coming from the sun. The importance of this protective region can’t be overestimated. Without the Van Allen belts our planet would have no magnetic protection and would ‘cook’ from the increased radiation that hits it, making life on our planet impossible. So, yes, if the 5G satellites affected the Van Allen belts it would be pretty bad.

The truth, however, is that the Van Allen belts are much more powerful than any satellite. Indeed, most satellites have to be protected from them. It’s one reason why they want to bring the satellites closer in to the planet. So it’s pretty unlikely that the satellites would have the power to disrupt our protective blanket. And, again, if this did happen it would result in an increase in radiation and it would be the increase in radiation that would make us sick, and so we wouldn’t recover until the radiation had been cleared. As the satellites haven’t been removed this makes this scenario pretty unlikely.

  1. 5g thimo pederson5G satellites cause electromagnetic stress.

I’ve worked for many years as an energetic healer and I know that electromagnetic stress is very real You can think of electromagnetic stress as ‘white noise’ or interference in your system. It makes it hard for your system to ‘hear’ itself and so it’s much harder for your system to run at its optimal level. This can be especially stressful to both the nervous and immune systems. It’s one reason I teach people how to keep themselves ‘on station’ (resonating to their own vibration) as this is a reliable way of removing electromagnetic stress. (You can access the meditation to help with that here.)

Again, the problem here is that if the 5G satellites were causing illness due to the electromagnetic stress they induced due to filling the global space with a digital frequency (biological systems are analogue) the stress wouldn’t diminish until either the source of the electromagnetic stress was removed (the satellites were switched off or taken down) or those with electromagnetic stress learn how to keep themselves on station. As many people have recovered, both those who are aware of energy and those who aren’t, this seems to also be unlikely.

So there you are. There’s the five main ways the 5G network could be a cause or complication of the covid-19 pandemic but none of them appear to create a consistent pattern when examined a little more closely. Remember, intuitive logic is pattern-based logic. Which also tells us that any additional stress, which 5G may certainly be on an energetic level, can suppress our immune system. But if it has done that then the fact that people are recovering means that life can adapt to this stress.

All of which is to say that the answer seems to be – not 5G.

Tethering the covid camel

Healing6constellateDisclaimer: the advise in this post is general. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing please seek medical attention and call in advance.

There’s an old Sufi story in which a Master has to admonish his disciple for losing his camel. The disciple says he told God to take care of it as the Master had always relied on God to take care of things. The Master responds, “Trust in Allah but tether your camel, for God has no hands but yours.”

It’s similar to the story of the devout Christian trapped by a flood. He prayed to God to save him. When his neighbours offered him a place in their boat he said “God will rescue me.” and he stayed. He did the same thing with the rescue services and their boat, and later with the emergency helicopter. When the waters rose over the roof of the man’s house, he ended up in heaven. When he saw God, the man said, “I prayed to you and you didn’t rescue me.”

God replied, “I sent two boats and a helicopter.”

In difficult, scary situations panic is understandable, but never helps. Retaining your trust in the divine (whatever that is for you) helps maintain a positive focus, as well as the understanding that there’s a future beyond the current stresses.  It’s also important to ‘tether your camel’ and so create as easy and graceful a path for yourself as possible. Here are ten things you can do to ‘tether the covid camel’:

  1. Remember your soul seat. This is your connection to your own source. The stronger and clearer this is the easier it is to feel the trust in the divine. Intuition bart larueYour soul seat is an energetic point in your body that holds your resonance. By strengthening this energy you can increase your well-being and strengthen the energy of your immune system. You can read all about this technique in my book The Soul’s Brain: The Neurology and Logic of Your Intuition. Hay House is having a 50% off sale from their website to help you through this situation. You can get my book here or the ebook here.

I’ve created a healing meditation includes this process and until this situation passes I’m making it free to stream from the website. You can do that here. (If the link doesn’t work go to the meditations page and click on read more under the healing  meditation to access it.)

  1. See the pattern right in front of you kyle loftusYour intuition is your strongest guide on your path through life. Unfortunately when you’re navigating stressful or scary situations the fear can block your intuition. Fear triggers your flight-fight response so you can respond fast but it narrows your focus to what’s immediately in front of you. While this helped your ancestors escape cave bears it can’t help escape a virus. If you remain more centred your intuition can help guide you through this situation, as my intuition told me where and when I needed to be in order to get the paper towels I needed for the clinic.

One simple technique you can use is from kinesiology:

Hold your hand across your forehead so your little finger lies along your eyebrows. Breathe slowly and deeply, close your eyes and focus on whatever is stressing or scaring you. Keep breathing. This helps your system integrate the stress. When it’s integrated you’ll no longer feel so overwhelmed, which makes it easier to stay centred and open to your intuition.

  1. With social distancing, and even more so with self-isolation, it can be hard to feel supported. You can join Facebook groups and use your social Souls brain cover with perspectivemedia to stay connected, have FaceTime meals with friends, etc.

By energetically opening to the love and support of your divine source you can help yourself be nurtured through this. Again this is a technique you can find in my book The Soul’s Brain: The Neurology and Logic of Your Intuition. Hay House is having a 50% off sale from their website to help you through this situation. You can get my book here or the ebook here.

Focus on your divine source, whatever that is for you. Know your divine source is flowing love and support to you in every moment. So you don’t have to do anything to get this universal love and support. All you have to do is relax and allow it in. Feeling this universal love and support helps keep you in a state of trust in the divine.

  1. Social distancing is a natural state for many of us introverts, but if you’re more extroverted in nature it’s going to be tougher. One way to apply your trust to help yourself through this situation is to focus on the positive future that will come once this current situation has passed. Just as you can tune yourself up to your soul seat, you can focus on this future version of you, the version of you that is in the positive future, and tune yourself up to the soul seat resonance of your future self. This will be the same resonance as your current soul seat, but clearer and stronger. Again, you can read all about this technique in my book The Soul’s Brain: The Neurology and Logic of Your Intuition. Hay House is having a 50% off sale from their website to help you through this situation. You can get my book here or the ebook here.

  1. Earth energy bobby johnsonRemember, while it is likely you will be exposed to the covid-19 virus at some point in the future whether you get sick or not isn’t just a matter of exposure. It’s also a matter of the state of your immune system, and the health of your lungs.

One way to ‘tether the covid camel’ is to strengthen your lungs. You can do this by doing deep breathing exercises every day. The herb mullein is known to help strengthen and clear lungs so this may be helpful, both during the flu and in recovery. A great home support for your lungs is the herb rosemary. You can use either the fresh herb or the essential oil. A sprig under the pillow or a few drops on your pillow can help you breathe easier at night.

  1. Another way to ‘tether the covid camel’ is to strengthen your immune system. Large doses of Vitamin C are helpful. Covid-19 causes fatigue which suggests the virus affects the lymphatic system as well as the spleen, which is like a big lymph node. The herb Andrographis (Andrographis paniculata) helps to strengthen the immune system through the spleen. You can get this in combination but if you buy it by itself you can increase the dose for a short period if you feel the need.

  1. One of the best herbs for managing the symptoms of a flu is called yarrow. It’s been used for centuries to treat infections and is even said to be the Yarrowherb they used to treat Achilles’ heel when he trod on the arrow, hence it’s botanical name of Achillea millefolium. It helps to bring down fever and swelling as well as drying up excess mucous. I’ve used it in previous flu seasons when I caught a bit of whatever was going round. If I started to feel a little off or feverish I’d just have a cup of yarrow tea (it’s a bit bitter so you may want to put some peppermint or something else with it) and I’d feel fine for a couple of hours. You can grow it easily in a pot or the garden, as long as it gets plenty of water and sunlight. You can use it fresh or as a tea.

  1. Unfortunately the illness itself isn’t the only kind of stress the covid situation is creating. There’s the social stress, and for many there’s also an economic stress. That stress may last the longest for some of us. So part of ‘tethering the covid camel’ will be to manage your stress. The herb Ashwagandha, also known as Withania, is great for managing stress. It helps to balance your adrenals and will help you reach those deeper sleep states which are so important for healing. Take this before bed, especially if the stress is starting to keep you up at night.

  1. ‘Trust in the divine and tether your camel’ by remembering ‘this too shall pass’. The more you remain aligned to the future you want for yourself the more easily you will move through this situation. Focus on what you want for yourself. Feel how it feels to be in your chosen future. Practice being in that future today and you’ll be all the more ready for it when it comes, as well as being able to deal with the short-term stress in the meanwhile. 1. The same technique as in 9. applies to the positive future you’d like to co-create for the world. Many people keep asking me what they feel is the bigger picture on the current situation. Part of that bigger picture is how much we need to learn to think and act more interdependently, including having a more interdependent relationship with the planet. You can help move our collective consciousness in that direction by focusing on a positive future for this planet in which all people – including the planet herself – get to live in their integrity. You can read all about this technique in my book The Soul’s Brain: The Neurology and Logic of Your Intuition. Hay House is having a 50% off sale from their website to help you through this situation. One question that rules your life . . .

Why dewayne gupta
There’s a question that rules your life – even if you don’t consciously know the answer.

There’s a question you can ask yourself in every moment to change your life. This one question alone has the power to redirect your energies, change the alignment of your life and the destiny of your path. It can change the course of your day, determine the state of your mood and increase or decrease the stress you’re feeling right now. It will effect everything you manifest and the outcome of each action you take. It will control how you experience every single day of your life.

Tell me rochelle nicole
So what’s the question already?

So it’s a pretty important question, right?

Okay, so here it is – what are you focused on right now?

This one question affects so much of your life because all your energies  go to whatever you’re focused on. Here’s a simple test to demonstrate that to yourself. Ready? WHATEVER YOU DO DON’T THINK OF A PINK ELEPHANT.

Pixabay pink elephant
So did you think of a pink elephant? How long did it take you to think of something else? Like a purple giraffe?

You thought of a pink elephant, right? Don’t worry. We all do. That’s the point. Our mind automatically focuses on whatever’s in front of us, whether it serves us or not. It can’t be helped, it’s the way your mind automatically works. That’s not the problem. Sometimes what is put in front of you serves you, by making you laugh or giving you a wonderful new idea or source of inspiration. It’s when ideas that don’t serve you come into your space. You’ll still focus on them. It’s an instinct. You can’t help it. What is important, however, is what you do next.

If your mind stays stuck on the pink elephant, you’re in trouble. With all that’s going on in the world right now, you could even be in serious trouble. There’s so much going on that’s negative, divisive and generally toxic that if you remain focused on it you’ll end up anxious, depressed or stressed. It’s times like these when you need to exercise your ‘focus muscles’ and keep your focus on what serves you.

Hope mi pham
Whatever you focus on you receive more of – focus on joy and you’ll get more joy.

Anything that doesn’t serve you is a distraction. It’ll take your energy away from what you want to create in your own life and put it somewhere else, usually in a place that works for someone else but probably not for you. You receive tremendous benefits when you keep yourself focused on the things that serve you. Your energy will flow into what you want more easily, your life will become more aligned improving the ease and flow in your life and you’ll feel more supported as your results improve.

Here’s a simple trick to help you stay focused on what you want (and not on what you don’t want):

  1. Write down three to five things you want. They can be tangible things, like a healthy body, or intangible, like greater happiness.
  2. Focus on each one. Do you get a picture in your mind that feels good? That is what you want? If so, well done. That’s a positive focus. If not, re-word what you want until the picture is what you want.
  3. Once you’ve have your three to five things that you want, put that list of things somewhere you can see it or find it easily. You can put it on a postit on your mirror, or in your car. You can also put it in the notes in your phone. You can also put it as an event in your calendar so it pops up regularly to remind you what to focus on.
  4. When something grabs your focus during your day, do the same thing. Notice if the image it gives you in your mind feels good or not. If it does you can work with it. If it doesn’t make you feel good you’ll need to re-focus.
  5. You can use your list to re-focus yourself. Picture the things on your list to get yourself back onto a positive track for the day.

The more you practice this the more fit your ‘focus muscles’ will become. Then the world won’t be able to distract you from what you want.

You can be brilliant

Ychyl quoteThe truth is you are already brilliant! Why you’re not seeing this brilliance reflected in your life just yet is for one simple reason – while you’ve spent many years at school and college and university training your brain to know what one plus one equals, you’ve not trained the part of your brain that knows how to find ensure you’re living your life in alignment with the pattern of your brilliance. This part of your mind is, of course, your intuitive mind.

Many of us believe our intuition is separate to us, that it comes from outside in a few extraordinary moments. While your intuition is the key to your brilliance, it isn’t separate from you. It’s just a part of your system you’re not using consciously. But now that can change! Remember, if you go back far enough the fact that you now know what I was thinking in a different time and place would’ve been considered magic. You perform this ‘everyday magic’ all the time without even noticing it because you’ve trained your brain to be able to do it easily. Your intuition can be just like that, as long as you know how to train it.

In my book The Soul’s Brain I reveal, for the first time, the principles of your intuition and how you can train this powerful and brilliant part of your mind.

Ychyl banner square
Begin your journey towards having the ‘everyday magic’ of intuition today!

Your intuition finds solutions to seemingly impossible situations, alerts you to opportunities you hadn’t even imagined and gives you awareness of life events beyond what your physical senses can tell you. It’s  a beautiful and profound source of insight and wonder. And you can learn how to have this as part of your ‘everyday magic’ as you heal and expand your life in many ways. To make it that much more fun to gain this ‘everyday magic’ Hay House have included my lesson on “The Neurology and Logic Behind Intuition” as part of their You Can Heal Your Life Summit. This lesson will be released in series 6, on 14th May, but you can get started now! In fact, you can get access to some special lessons now, even though the summit doesn’t start until 4th May. Click here to get started on your journey towards your most brilliant life.

Come and learn “The Neurology and Logic Behind Intuition”.

In my lesson on “The Neurology and Logic Behind Intuition” you’ll be given an especially effective and easy way of developing the ‘everyday magic’ of intuition. It can often be hard to set aside time to train our system to work the way we want it to work but, fortunately, your intuition is part of your inbuilt system. It’s not meant to be separate from you. It’s meant to be part of everything you do. So when you know how you can just do a little bit every day (just a few minutes) and that will activate your intuition. That way, when you have a choice to make you’ll naturally make the choice your intuition reveals will have the greatest benefit for you. Of course, the fun part of your intuition is you may not be sure just how it’s going to be of benefit, but you can be sure it will be. Your intuition holds your alignment to your most brilliant self. You can activate your intuition most easily through the turbo soul seat meditation which I give exclusively in my lesson during the You Can Heal Your Life Summit. Future tracking: the most elegant path to your most brilliant future

Now where ian schneider
Once you arrive at your new reality that’s where you’re going to have to live.

Where is your future taking you?

With all the chaos, fear and stress in the world it’s easy to get distracted. Unfortunately when you focus on all the negativity and difficulty, whether it’s your own or what’s going on in the world, all it does it make it harder for you to create what you want in your life. Whether that’s a more profitable business, a more intimate relationship or a more fulfilled life there is one essential ingredient you need if you want to create it. This essential ingredient is focus, which is exactly the thing that all the world’s chaos and upset attempts to take away from you.

Mind reader thu anh
Don’t let your focus get hijacked.

It’s been said that we no longer live in the information age but in the attention economy. We generally value most that which is scarcest. Back before the internet was created information was scarce, so we valued it more than we do today. The world wide web has made information abundant. Of course quality information is still scarce but now what is most valued is your attention. In a wide, interconnected world it is attention that has become scarce which is why there are so many things screaming to get your attention. This means you need to understand the value of your attention and not just in what you choose to follow on social media. Your attention and where you place it has a huge impact on your ability to create what you want in life.

The stronger your integrity the more clearly you recognise integrity in others
Who’s in charge of your focus? You? Or whoever’s shouting for your attention?

Your focus affects far more than you realise. If you’re focused on negative stuff your mood is also likely to be pretty negative. Focus on the positive and it’s easier to feel optimistic. When you focus on problems it’s harder to find the solution than if you’re focused on finding the way forward. How you use your focus also has a huge impact on your intuition.

The logic of your intuition, which you can read about in my book The Soul’s Brain, is pattern based. Another way to think about that is that it’s more concerned with your alignment than it is with putting things into the right / wrong basket. In other words, your intuition largely works by knowing what is aligned to your chosen outcome or focus and what isn’t. So when you allow your focus to be distracted by the fear, chaos and upset in the world you’re also putting your future at risk as your intuition won’t have the clear focus that makes it work best. So what to do about it?

How far is your future
Align yourself to your future and your intuition will take you there.

The most effective and elegant path to your brilliant future is to track your future. This means maintaining your focus on your future. That is, if you focus on your future-self, on the version of yourself you will be when you have created that brilliant future for yourself you’ll ensure you’ll keep yourself aligned to your future. This keeps your focus where you want it to be, on creating that brilliant future for yourself. One simple way to do this is to focus on your brilliant future self and ask ‘What would that version of me do? What would future-me do in this situation?’ If you do that, not only will you keep moving in the direction of your most brilliant life and what you want to create but your intuition will be able to work most powerfully to support you to get there as well.

Now the proof . . .

Souls brain cover with perspective
Join the paradigm on intuition. Read how it isn’t a mysterious and uncertain gift but a skill anyone can learn.

If you’ve been under a rock or living the last few weeks in a parallel universe you may not yet be aware that my book The Soul’s Brain: the Neurology and Logic of Your Intuition has now been released by Hay House. https://thesoulsbrain.paperform.co/ This book is a distillation of my work over the last quarter a century or more (I know – it’s sounds so long when I say it like that). It’s a light read which examines the link between what is going on inside your head with what’s going on outside in the world. Most especially it looks at how our brains can perceive a whole lot more than what our senses have evolved to. It’s a bit like your YouTube feed or internet searches. There’s a whole lot more out there than what you’re accessing but sometimes it’s tricky to figure out how to get to it. This is what is really meant when it says we only use 10% of our brains. It’s not that only 10% of it turns on but that we’re only accessing 10% of the information that our brains are absorbing.

All life is electromagnetic in nature frank mckenna
All life is electromagnetic in nature.

Much of the way your intuition works is through finding a way for you to use this information more consciously. A big part of this process is your brain finding a way to give you the information is picks up directly. Meaning that because the brain runs off bioelectrical activity it’s affected by all the electromagnetic radiation that makes up our universe. Your intuition is simply a way for your brain to help you to understand some of that information. The process of how that happens, and what to do to make the process work more reliably and with more conscious control, is what The Soul’s Brain is all about. Excitingly, a new study at Caltech has just released its findings and what they’ve found corroborates what I’m saying.

Earth energy bobby johnson
All electromagnetic energy influences your brain.

In the Caltech study https://www.caltech.edu/about/news/evidence-human-geomagnetic-sense they found a way to confirm that the human brain can sense changes in the earth’s magnetic field. Essentially the brain’s activity or brain waves shift indicating that the brain of people exposed to a shifting magnetic field is focused on what is happening. If you’d like to watch a video about how the study was conducted and what it means then click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dg3pza4y2ws&t=10s This study shows the brain is aware and responding to what’s happening to surrounding magnetic field. This doesn’t mean that those whose brains respond in this way are aware of it or that they know how to interpret what they’re sensing, but as their brains respond consistently to the shifts in magnetism they could certainly train themselves to be consciously aware of what’s happening.

See the pattern right in front of you kyle loftus
Your intuition tells you more about the world than your five senses.

This is the same mechanism that underlies conscious intuition. We have five senses and we rely on the tiny slices of information they give us. These tiny slices are only select parts out of the whole range of electromagnetic energy. When we learn to interpret the energy our brains are picking up  – and especially when we learn how to accurate interpret it – even when it’s not within the range of any of our physical senses then we have conscious intuition. This process can bring us many benefits in our careers, relationships and passionate pursuits of all kinds. he more we can pick up and understand about our world the better we’re able to make choices and the more easily we create a world and a life that truly serves us, and the future.

Here piggy, piggy, piggy

Pig pixabay
The year of the earth pig promises to be a good one.

The new year has come and gone. Except not entirely. The Chinese new year is on 5th February, ringing in the year of the earth pig. Whether you look at the coming year from a zodiac perspective or an energetic perspective or from the more grounded perspective of what is happening around the world the year is come is about physical abundance. Specifically it’s about how you organise the physical aspects of your life so they support you to be your most expansive self.

Pigs are all about physical abundance and earth is exactly about being grounded. As the energy of the year to come begins to pick up speed in a (thankfully) more positive direction it’s clear the challenge will be to find practical ways to re-align your life so you can ensure abundance flows in easily. While energetic, spiritual and emotional abundance are an important part of life leading to fulfilment and inspiration this is not what this year is about. This year is more about getting all of that spiritual abundance that exists in the Universe into the physical.

Naturally when we talk about physical abundance the first thing that comes to mind is money. More money is always a good and useful thing but this isn’t just about more money. It’s about how you’re organising your life to expand the financial flow in your life. This could mean a change or advancement in your career but is more likely to mean creating new structures in your life so your money works for you more than you’re working for your money. That is true abundance because it means your money is arriving with grace and ease.

Money2 pixabay
Money is definitely one form of physical support.

Another important part of physical abundance is the support networks in your life. The more mutually expansive relationships you have in your life the more truly abundant you are. Not least of all because these kinds of healthy relationships are a huge boost to your well-being, as has been shown in many studies. So if your relationships are currently more of a drain on you than an expansive support then it might be time to learn how to create more interdependent relationships for yourself. The litmus test of relationships is this – is it easier for you to be Who You Truly Are when you’re by yourself or when you’re with that person? Any relationship which makes it harder for you to be Who You Truly Are is a drain on your abundance.

Then of course society itself is a form of physical abundance. There are lots of people doing it tough right now and that is highlighting what this current transition is all about. Moving through it to a more expansive state is what this year is all about but many current social structures will not support that unless they, also, transform. For example, the current government shutdown in the US is a great example of what used to work. A century or two ago having someone use independent tactics which could be summed up by ‘my way or the highway’ was effective, especially when those they were using these tactics against were relatively powerless. Whether or not it can be used from one arm of government against another remains to be seen, though it is doubtful. Yet from the viewpoint of the evolution of the collective consciousness perhaps it’s not so surprising what is happening.Society can either create physical abundance through expansive exchange or can create stress and poverty by creating structures that push people into being out-of-exchange.

Society pixabay
Society can either create physical abundance through expansive exchange or can create stress and poverty by creating structures that push people into being out-of-exchange.

The US is, or at least was, the most powerful and abundant nation on earth. So naturally it would be the focus on the current transition and the required shift in organisational structure which goes from moving from a codependent collective consciousness to an interdependent one. A bipartisan solution to the shutdown has been offered yet hasn’t been accepted. In the next few months things are going to get interesting. Either the ‘my way or the highway’ tactics will escalate, up to and including the possibility of the rise of authoritarianism, or those who hold a more interdependent or at least cooperative stance will stay focused and bring things back into alignment.

Although it may not seem likely right now I’m betting the latter is what ends up happening.

Positive wave pixabay
Riding the positive wave means building physical support structures or organisation that supports Who You Truly Are.

Not because that’s what I’d obviously prefer but because that is what on the side of the tide of history. I’m just not sure how messy things are going to get first. What I am sure about is that if you’re to take advantage of the wave of positive energy which is coming and avoid the messiness of the current transition in your own life, you need to focus on all the structures in your own life, especially those in the physical. Strengthen those that support Who You Truly Are and let go of or re-design those that don’t. Then this coming wave of positive energy which looks likely to last for twenty, if not forty, years will take you to heights you haven’t yet even glimpsed.

Healing the deepest wound . . . .

Shame pixabay
Toxic shame can start in early childhood.

Toxic shame is an incredibly incapacitating state to live with.  It is often the result of living with a narcissist and it is the result of particularly manipulative conditioning. Many may grow up with this and have to heal it as we all have to heal childhood wounds. Others may develop this later in life due to traumatic or abusive relationships. Wherever it comes from the result is the same – a heavy weight pressing on your soul making it difficult for you to be Who You Truly Are. Toxic shame is often brought about by invalidation linked to lies so you can never be sure of yourself. This makes building a healthy connection to Who You Truly Are extremely difficult.

Normal control or invalidation is when someone tells you that you’re wrong. It’s usually about something that you’ve done and it may make you feel guilty – if you feel that it was

Shame2 pixabay
Toxic shame means you feel wrong no matter what you do.

wrong – or it may make you feel defiant – if you don’t feel it was wrong. Narcissistic or toxic invalidation (though of course all invalidation is actually toxic) is when someone tell you that you’re wrong and you haven’t done anything. They tell blatant lies in order to have something about which to make you wrong. If you have proof to the contrary they’ll deny it. They’ll use what is most precious to you in your life as a means to strengthen their invalidation of you. If you’ve done something that brings you joy they’ll explain how that was a bad thing to do. If you have supportive relationships in your life they’ll explain how those people are really beneath you or can’t be trusted. They’ll explain how they’re the only person who has your best interests at heart, even though their actions won’t match that and they’ll give you positive reinforcement only when you’ve done what they want you to do. They’ll tell other people you’re crazy or can’t be trusted. Anything negative they do will be your responsibility. You’ll begin to wonder if all this pain is your fault. Anytime you think you’ve started to understand them they’ll change things, invent a new lie or deny the truth because this keeps you off-balance. Confusion keeps you questioning – including questioning yourself and the value of who you are and what you do. That, of course, is the point.

Shame3 pixabay
Toxic shame means you distrust yourself so much you’ll present a very different face to the world to who you feel inside.

Healthy shame actually strengthens your connection to Who You Truly Are. It is an uncomfortable, squirmy feeling that tells you you’re focused on something that’s a bit out of your integrity. It’s part of your own system, an internal boundary you were born with that’s there to help you stay in alignment with your true essence. Toxic shame takes this part of your system and turns it on its head. Toxic shame means you’ve been so turned around inside yourself that you’ve developed beliefs that means you can no longer trust yourself. There’s two parts to it. The first are beliefs that stop you from doing anything, the second is a belief that punishes you if you do something.

The first part of toxic shame is the belief ‘I’m never good enough’ because whatever you did for the narcissistic conditioner was never good enough. This could even be as deep as ‘I only make things worse’ if whenever you did something that brought you joy or you attempted to bring the narcissist some joy you were attacked verbally and emotionally. This belief will stop you from doing anything, including anything to heal yourself. Fractology can help release this. One of the best ways to work on this yourself is to do ‘mirror work’. This is when you stand in front of the mirror and look into your eyes and tell yourself all the things you would have heard if your conditioning would have been healthier. I call this ‘re-parenting’. For example, ‘I love and

Reflection3 pixabay
Mirrorwork can help you heal your relationship with yourself.

approve of you just the way you are.’ or ‘You’re doing well and you’ll do even better as you keep learning.’ or ‘You’re so wonderful. I’m so glad to have you in my life.’ When we get older we can either continue to be the victim of our conditioning or we can re-parent ourselves and make up the shortfalls or correct the problems we’ve ‘inherited’.

The second part of toxic shame comes out if you manage to get past the first. This is the thought ‘Who do you think you are?’. This is the kind of thing you would have heard if you ever dared to resist or push back against the narcissistic conditioner. This is essentially a statement of their entitlement. Such thoughts invalidate you rather than acknowledge you for your achievements, as if, in achieving anything, you’ve somehow wounded others. Certainly you will have damaged the control of the narcissist which is why your achievements will be discounted and your opinions belittled. The way to heal this is to continue the work above but to also work on developing healthy pride. This is also something Fractology can assist you with.

Authentic self pixabay
Releasing toxic shame and opening to healthy pride also connects you to your true path in life with all of its joy.

Healthy shame helps keep you on track so you can achieve your potential. As you witness all the amazing things your true essence helps co-create you naturally feel healthy pride in yourself and what you achieve. Healthy pride comes from a deep appreciation of Who You Truly Are and an understanding of your function in the co-creation of all things. We all have our part to play in the unfolding of the Universe. Toxic shame would rob you of it but releasing that and opening to healthy pride gives your part back to you, and all the joy that comes with it.

The five phases of realising your dreams – and why that’s different to goals

Learn to listen to the voice of your own intuition
Listen to the voice of your own intuition for joyous expansion in life and business

Business intuition is a hot topic right now but those who’ve been working with their intuition for a while know that one of the great powers of intuition is the ability it gives you to expand your life. This is true in business as well as in life. In business and personal development we’re so often taught to set goals. The problem with goals is that they always come from within our current reality. That’s why they’re SMART – specific, measurable, acceptable, realistic and time-dependent. If you can measure it and know its reality and how long it’s going to take you to get there it’s within your reality. You may have to expand your skill base to achieve it but you’re not going to have to expand your reality, particularly your reality around what you can achieve. Goals don’t do that. Dreams do.

Yet how are you meant to create your dreams? They’re out of your current reality so how can you begin to navigate towards them? That’s where your intuition comes in. Your intuition knows the pattern of your life and your consciousness and can use that to navigate into the unknown. Your dream may be out in an expanse of life unfamiliar to you but it will be just another expression of your pattern. When you set your intention to achieve or create something you think is impossible but are still willing to work towards it your intuition will kick in. As soon as you do that you’ll begin to work your way through the five phases of realising your dreams.

  1. Modern magic aditya saxena
Joy and excitement are your true power

    Power your intuition with excitement.

When you set your intention for a dream so vast it’s currently outside your reality you’re choosing a general direction for your life. Your intuition will use this as to set your course but initially you won’t have any details as to how you’ll achieve it. It’s outside your reality. You may have a few details about what it’ll look like but even those may be scanty. You will, however, have the feeling of it. That’s the exciting part. Hold onto that excitement as that will power your intuition. With my book The Soul’s Brain all I knew at this point was that it was time to put my work out into the world. That was my intention.  https://thesoulsbrain.paperform.co/

 2. A few details fill in.

The next phase is marked by getting clear on some of the details. This means you’re getting closer. These details help build the excitement even more. With my book The Soul’s Brain I got me clear that I wanted to publish it through Hay House.

 3. You feel a powerful urge to take necessary action.

Escher has a lot to answer for
You need to take action when your dream turns into an actionable goal

The details get even clearer because your reality has grown to the point that it’s starting to include at least a possible path towards your dream. Your intuition will know which steps to take and, importantly, when to take them. I had been thinking about attending a Hay House workshop for a while but then I suddenly got a powerful urge to go to the workshop in Maui. Of course the fact that I’d never been to Hawaii so it would also be a tax-deductible holiday also helped.

 4. The dream takes shape.

For some, this next phase can be difficult. It certainly requires work. This is when your dream gets to ground itself into your reality as you do the work. Now your dream is in your reality it’s become similar to a goal. You have to follow the necessary action plan. For The Soul’s Brain this meant I had to write it, which was fun, and then I had to edit it, which did my head in at times but definitely resulted in a  book that was an easy read so it was worthwhile for all my readers.  https://thesoulsbrain.paperform.co/

Now where ian schneider
Once you arrive at your new reality that’s where you’re going to have to live.

5. You arrive at the threshold.

Once all the work is done things start to fall into place. At this point your old reality can test you, which is another way of saying if you haven’t expanded mentally and emotionally to fit your new reality you’ll need to do it now. If not, you run the risk of sabotaging things. If you do this work before you get to this point you’ll be able to enjoy the expansion. Which means it’s time to celebrate! This is what I’ll be doing next Friday, 15th March, with the launch of The Soul’s Brain. Please come and join me for the Bubbles and Book Launch.  Click here for details: https://www.facebook.com/events/2238276989564439/

Shapes are the words of our Intuitive Language

If pattern is the logic of our intuition and fractals are our language then shapes are perhaps the words that make up that language. Each and every shape you see around you conveys information because each shape is one way for things to be joined. The alignment of how we join with others, or with the world around us, can tell us a lot about what is going on.

Stop and think about this for a moment. You’ll realise you have a sense of what I mean even if you haven’t got the words for it (though I hope this blog will give you some of words to put to your innate understanding). Here are some basic shapes and some of the empathic, rather than mathematical, information they convey. Stop and consider each of these shapes, especially your reaction to them. Fractals are created from basic shapes repeated over and over again. By considering the basic shapes and what they convey you can begin to understand a little more of what each fractal is saying, and so your intuition can take that one step closer towards being conscious intuition.

Pine line pixabayStorm front line pixabayA straight line – joins two things together in a direct way. It is stable, clear and direct but it is also static.

Lampionblume flower triangle pixabayPlank triangle pixabayA triangle is more interesting as it introduces a third element. This third element could be either stabilising or destabilising, depending on the relationship. It opens up a line to new possibilities.

Cherries heart pixabay Leaf heart pixabayYou can think of a heart-shape as a special kind of triangle. Two of the corners are curved as they draw towards each other, rather than pointed, and the third remains as it would in the triangle. What does this suggest to you? That the closeness of the first two points allows the energy of the third to express itself in new ways?

Pyrite crystal pixabaySquares are seen rarely in nature. This in itself is interesting as it is the one shape we humans reproduce over and over again – along with its cousin, the rectangle. Squares are a ‘grown up’ version of the straight line. They hold each corner in a static relationship. Perhaps this is why we like them. They give the sense that we know what’s going on, but squares are so rare in nature that it reminds me of how we’ve recently realised that, for all of our science, we’ve only been studying about five percent of the Universe. We’re not even sure where the other ninety-five percent of the Universe is and what it’s made up from. We may like squares but they’re not that natural. You may think immediately of cliffs but they’re usually so eroded they’re not true squares. The only true square in nature I can think of is the pyrite crystal. Interesting that pyrite is called ‘fool’s gold’ and that gold has been regarded for centuries as both a symbol and a holder of value. Perhaps it’s time for us to realise that static relationships hold, at best, only fleeting value?

Daffodil circle pixabaySun circle pixabayCircles are far more common in nature than squares. They have both a centre as well as a diameter, which allows them to have an outward, radiant expression while maintaining the core of themselves. Circles cover every angle and so come closest of the linear shapes to the connectivity of true consciousness. In sacred geometry the circle is considered to be the most powerful and complete shape.

Snail shell spiral pixabayRose spiral pixabaySpirals are a special kind of circle. It’s more of a curve, and an open curve at that. It’s a curve in which every revolution is larger than the one before. The exact relationship of each curve to the previous one is ruled by the Fibonacci sequence, a kind of mathematical fractal, so naturally this is a shape we enjoy at Fractology. Consider what the spiral suggests. Each revolution is more expansion than the one before yet the centre is always maintained. This shape is a wonderful visual expression of the process of true personal and spiritual growth.

There are more shapes, and definitely more complex shapes that are made up of combinations of these basic shapes. Yet when you begin to consider each shape and what it means, what it supports and what it doesn’t, it will help your intuition become more conscious. Spend a little time each day looking around you and observe what shapes there are in your environment. What does that tell you about where you are?

Sacred geometry grew out of the study of the basic kinds of shapes I’ve been talking about here. The understanding of fractals came from topology, the study of shapes. Fractology is a further development of that as it enables us to understand the pattern-based logic of our intuition. As you observe how you respond to the shapes that make up your day you’re building a foundation for your intuition to grow.

Left brain – right brain: challenges and insights from the road

One of the joys of travelBrain2 pixabayling overseas to teach is getting to experience knowledge that is old and familiar to me in a completely different way. When I see what I know through the eyes of people who look at the world from a diverse perspective it forces me to explain things in a whole new way. This is brilliant as it gives me a new appreciation of old and loved material.

One of the most noticeable differences between the culture I grew up with and the Brazilian culture is one that, fortunately, Fractology is well-equipped to handle. My upbringing was a very left-brained one. Not only because my father is a mathematician but because the culture I come from seeks to understand anything before acting on it. This means that often long explanations and assurances are required before teaching anyone even the first step in the Fractology process of developing their intuition. The challenge at home is the classical one that many spiritual and intuitive teaches have to meet. It is the challenge of enabling students to accept the validity of their intuition deeply enough that they’re open to learning. In Brazil all that changes.

This is a wonderful, deeply empathic culture with deep shades of mysticism. This harks back to the unique history of the place and can be seen in the diverse and integrated influences that created what Brazil is today. What this means for Fractology and the development of intuition is that students here plunge straight into the work. There is an immediate empathic connection to the work which is profoundly right-brained. The challenge here is not to get students to open up to the work but to understand what they’re doing from a logical framework so they can do it consistently and with clarity. In other words, the process of learning here is the reverse of what it is at home.

At home the most effective method of teaching is left-brain to right-brain. Once students have a logical framework they can accept they’re far more open to all the many gifts their intuition has to offer. Here in Brazil where I’m currently teaching that would not be an effective method. What works best here is going from right-brain to left-brain. This back and forth between both sides of the brain is fortunately an inbuilt part of the Fractology system.  It is a necessary part of teaching intuition and self-awareness. It also has implications for other parts of our lives, such as business.

In business it’s most common to go left-brain to right-brain because a reliable and consistent method of operation is needed to get anywhere if you want to be successful. Knowing what you’re doing and how to do it most effectively within a highly specific focus is a great recipe for the operational side of any business. Yet any truly successful business person will tell you this isn’t enough. A great business system is an efficient way of making product, of getting the work out there but to be successful you also need to have what you’re doing be well-received. That is a more right-brained process.

Some businesses figure out the system first and then seek to connect to their clients. They go from a left-brained approach to right-brained communication. If they don’t make that switch they may have a great product but their marketing will lack heart and so their products won’t enjoy the success they deserve. The left-to-right-brain approach works well with companies that require a lot of research and development, such as medical supply companies. However today most companies, especially small companies, would do better to reverse this process.

The right-brain is what enables us to make that immediate connection. It’s what guides any business to the niche that will enable them to create an effective base from which they can grow momentum for outrageous levels of success. Microsoft is an example of a company that takes this approach. Whether you are a Mac or a PC person you can learn something from the way Microsoft does business. They throw together their next product and send it out to market knowing it’s not perfect. In other words, they’re far more focused on making that right-brained empathic connection with people than they are on having a perfect left-brained system. Once the product is out in the market they know their clients will give them feedback. Full left-brained understanding of each new product or system comes after they’ve put the product out to market.

In other words, both approaches work. They’re just different. The question you have to answer for yourself is – which way do I prefer to work?  Left-to-right-brain? Or right-to-left-brain?

7 signs your intuition is talking to you about your business

Money savings patternBusiness intuition is a hot topic right now. In our increasingly fast-paced world your business intuition can help you keep up and make your business thrive for years to come. Intuition is your in-built system for sensing what’s coming. Your business intuition is brilliant at predicting issues and problems before they become serious. It’s also essential for the next wave of innovation, including any which will affect you and your business. Learn to listen to your intuitive business side and you can use it to succeed in business. You will then be the one creating the changes, rather than being affected by them. To help you get started here are seven signs your business intuition is talking to you:

  1. You keep hearing the same subject in conversations or on your media.

Your intuition works through patterns so if you notice a pattern cropping up in your world, pay attention to it! This is a powerful sign your business intuition is talking to you, especially if the subject relates to your business. This sign happens most commonly when there’s a big decision to make. Focusing on your intention to find the best option is a great way to trigger your intuition to assist you in business decision making. Your intuition can supply the answer, but not always in the way you expect. If you keep hearing the same subject mentioned it’s probably because this is where you’ll find the answer you need.

  1. The thought of someone you haven’t seen in years keeps coming into your mind.

Only the other day a client mentioned to me she’d had persistent thoughts of an old colleague. She’d lost touch with them but a week later she learned he’d passed. Stories like these are common with general intuition but have a special significance in business intuition. If you keep thinking of someone connected to your business, either in currently or the past, it’s often a sign your intuitive leadership is required. Leadership puts the best team together and knows who to task with what and when. If your business intuition keeps pulling a particular person into your awareness it may be they, or their ideas, are needed for your team to succeed.

  1. You feel a strong sensation in your chest.

Your soul seat is in your upper chest. When you get a strong sensation in this area it’s usually connected with something that affects you and your authenticity directly. This is an intuitive sign your integrity may be affected by your business decision making. If the feeling is positive, it’s a good sign. If it’s negative, you may need to consider how you can achieve what you need to in a different way.

  1. You feel a strong sensation in your gut.

Your hara is in your lower abdomen. When you get a strong sensation in this area it’s usually connected with your goals and life-path. This is an intuitive sign your goals and dreams may be affected. If you pay attention to this sign it may help you succeed in business with maximum ease. If the feeling is positive, go for it. If it’s negative, then your intuition is supporting your business decision making by letting you know you’ll need to find a different path to your goal.

  1. You feel confident and happy even if you’re not sure of the decision.

Intuitive leadership means you often have to make decisions without all the information. This means you can’t be sure it’s the best choice. Yet if you feel good about your choice it’s a sign you’re using your intuition in business successfully. Your decision may not work out the way you expect but this is a sign it’ll work out well, one way or another.

  1. You feel uneasy about your choice even though you’re sure about the decision.

This sign can be one of the hardest to pay attention to, especially if the choice is one you’ve made before and it worked out well. Yet one of the most important ways your business intuition can help you succeed in business is in avoiding unnecessary problems. Sometimes things change without you realising it and if you’re feeling uneasy it may be an intuitive sign there’s something going of which you’re not aware. If you’re feeling this it’s time to check and re-check what’s happening.

  1. The same opportunity keeps popping up.

Your business intuition is also there to help you grow and achieve your dreams. If the same opportunity keeps popping up it may be a sign this will help take you to the next level so you can succeed in business. Your business intuition knows the way to success doesn’t always lie along the tried-and-well-trodden path but most often in the unexpected. If the same opportunity keeps presenting itself ask yourself how would it support your business. You may be wonderfully surprised by the answer.

The intuitive-edge in business

Are you haunted by the problems in your business or work life? Or do you know with absolute conviction that your business could be huge if you could Money treejust get ahead of the trend? Problem solving and creative innovation are the edge your intuition can give you in your business. From Steve Jobs to Oprah Winfrey, many business leaders speak about the importance of their intuition and how it helped them get ahead in their business. This is an edge you can acquire for yourself. You too can use your intuition to succeed in business.

In life and business there are only two categories of things you have to deal with. Those you already know and those you don’t know yet. Your brain is designed to handle both of these. That’s why you have two sides to your brain.

When dealing with something you already know you’ll probably need to pull up from the dim recesses of your memory or subconscious known facts and figures. These details, this data gives you the information you need to deal successfully with what you’re facing. If you’ve dealt with it well before you’ll pull up that data and do something similar again, hopefully with a similarly successful outcome. Your left-brain is really good at that kind of thing. That’s what its job is. This is the side of your brain that school focuses on. However good your grades were then, that was down to how well your left-brain stores that data. When you know something, you know it. The difficulty is that in business, as in life if you try to use what you already know to handle something you don’t know yet it’s probably not going to work out so well. That’s when the other side of your brain and your intuition comes into it.

Your right-brain doesn’t deal with known facts but with the patterns of life. Pattern-based thinking or using your intuition in business decision making is what the intuitive-edge in business is all about. None of us like having to deal with difficult situations, especially if we dealt with something similar unsuccessfully in the past. When you’re faced with such a situation you know you need to do something different, but what? Even more daunting are those moments in which you have to deal with something entirely new, whether it’s because the trend has changed or you’re taking your business into its next phase. Yet these moments are also where the biggest opportunities lie.

The chances are if you have a problem other people have it as well. Solving problems is a great way to grow your business. When your business intuition is working well you’ll be able to perceive the pattern running through the situation and use that to realign what you’re doing to solve the problem. To understand what I mean consider a tree for a moment. Your left-brain might know all sorts of facts and figures about a tree, like how the chlorophyll or the green-stuff in the leaves can turn sunlight into energy and takes carbon dioxide out of the air in the process. Your right-brain isn’t so interested in any of that stuff. It just looks at the whole magnificent tree and goes past that to recognise the pattern that created it. Then it does more.

The pattern shows you where the tree has a problem because that broken branch or piece of mistletoe doesn’t match the rest of the pattern of the tree. In the same way your business intuition will recognise where there’s a problem when the healthy patterns of your business are disturbed in some way. Just like the tree you need to get your business back into alignment with its healthy pattern to solve that problem.

What’s more your ability to recognise pattern means you know when one tree is the same kind as another because they both have the same pattern. This is the part of your business intuition which will help you recognise new opportunities. When your right-brain recognises a situation or opportunity that aligns to the healthy pattern of your business you’ll know, even if you don’t yet have all the data, that that’s a situation in which your business can thrive in. Saying yes to such opportunities is a wonderfully empowering way to use intuition in your business decision making.

So one of the best ways to succeed in business is to strengthen your intuition. Knowing your intuition comes from the pattern-based thinking of your right-brain gives you a clue as to how you can do that. Spend some time each week working on your ability to recognise patterns and your intuition will grow stronger. You can do this by spending time in nature which is full of complex patterns called fractals. You can watch fractal zoom videos on YouTube or simply look for patterns all around you, in the people you pass and the things you notice on your media feed. Or of course you could study Fractology.

The 3 Minute Solution for Greater Wellbeing

Are you feeling stressed? Out of sorts? As if you’re dragging a weight around with every step?

If so there’s a 3-Minute Solution to give you the pattern of balance for better wellbeing. This pattern is important energetically and neurologically.

Balance
There’s no need to drag yourself through life. Let go of the struggle and give yourself the time and love to find balance.
Leon Brown
Balance work life
Life is like riding a bicycle – in order to keep your balance, you must keep moving.
Albert Einstein

All of us get stressed when we lose our connection to our true self – to Who We Truly Are. If we’re not to get stressed we need to maintain one of the fundamental patterns of a healthy life – our balance.

Neurologically and energetically staying balanced is a major key to increasing the ease of connection to Who We Truly Are. When we’re out of balance our system has to constantly compensate for that, which is a drain on our energy and a drag on our efforts. When we’re out of balance we never run at our optimal state and tend to generate more toxicity than usual – a bit like when your car is out of tune it’ll throw up more oil and crud into the engine.

Balance can be static, similar to the picture at the left above – weight on either side of a fulcrum needs to be even if the fulcrum is to stay level. That might work for rocks but it doesn’t work in our human existences. We can’t sit still – there’s too many fun and worthwhile things to be doing.

That means we need a dynamic balance, not a static one. That is what Albert Einstein was speaking about, as quoted on the right above. In energetic terms, it means if we have energy flowing out we need to have the same amount of energy flowing in if we’re to stay balanced. That is the kind of balance that maintains each of your chakras. Your chakras are vortices of electromagnetic energy – they are similar in pattern to a whirlpool. They maintain their shape and structure not through a rigid structure, like your bones, but through the pattern of a balanced flow.

Neurologically a balanced flow is even more important. You have neurological information and impulses flowing from your brain down your nerves and into your body – that’s called the efferent flow. That’s how your brain tells your muscles what to do.

You also have a neurological flow that goes from your toes and fingers back up your nerves and into your brain – called the afferent flow. That’s how your system knows if what it did worked or not.

Maintaining a balanced neurological upflow and downflow helps balanced flows other in your system – like your kundalini energy. It’s essential for wellbeing, both energetically and physically.

Whirlpool
A whirlpool is an example of dynamic balance. Its pattern is maintained by the flow on one side of the pool balancing the flow on the other. If either flow was to decrease the whirlpool would disappear.

With this simple exercise you can maintain this essential balance in your system. It doesn’t take long – in fact, if it takes you more than 3 minutes then you’re forcing it, rather than guiding the flow.

Done correctly, this simple exercise will bolster your wellbeing by maintaining a healthy flow in your system. Like many of the techniques I teach, it’s simple but not easy. It requires a clear focus and a strong intention. As with all things, the more you practice it, the better you’ll become at it and the easier it will be. Then it might only take you 1 minute!

Here’s how you do it:

ENERGY BALANCE

  • Focus on the upflow and downflow in your spine. You can focus on your energy or nervous system flow, whichever works better for you. The effects are the same.
  • Intend for both flows to perfectly balance each other.
  • As they come into balance you may notice your body’s relief. Just as good physical posture is easier on your muscles, good EM posture is easier on your nerves.

If you can, do this at the start of each morning to give you good energy for the day and last thing at night to help you recover from the stresses of the day and to improve the quality of your sleep. That way, you’ll really capitalize on your 3 minutes to create tremendous energetic, neurological and physical well-being for yourself.
